On December 22nd, the Startups Law was published in the BOE, introducing the new DIGITAL NOMAD VISA for Spain. This visa opens up the possibility of living in Spain and developing a work or professional activity outside of Spanish territory.

Since it’s launch in December, we have had many clients opting to apply for the Digital Nomad Visa.

In this case, our client, a self-employed business owner and family have obtained 3-year residence permits through their Digital Nomad Visa application with us.

The well-known Law of Entrepreneurs, which also regulates the Golden Visa, has been modified to incorporate a new permit, the so-called “International Teleworkers’ Visa”. This new visa is aimed at foreign citizens from outside the EU who want to establish themselves in Spain and work remotely for an employer or clients in another country. One great advantage of this new permit is that this type of visa can be applied for by both employees and self-employed workers.

Managing our client’s application from beginning to completion, the Consult team ensured that our clients followed our detailed instructions and presented every requested document required for the application.

With the correct management of their application, our clients have been granted their DIGITAL NOMAD RESIDENCE PERMITS.
